Ayurvedic Rice Pudding
INGREDIENTS
1/2 - 1 cup cooked basmati rice
1 cups almond milk
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 cinnamon stick
1 dash pepper
2-3 cloves
1/2 inch fresh ginger (grated)
2 T raw pistachios
2 dates
Milk of choice
Optional: Coconut shreds, maple syrup, almond slices, sliced pear, orange slices
DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients in a crockpot and cook overnight. Alternatively, simmer on low for an hour. Serve with warm sliced pears, orange slices, coconut shreds, almond slices and/or maple syrup and milk of choice. Enjoy!
